The thermal engine has a working cylinder (2) which has a working chamber (22). The working chamber is loaded with a working liquid (8) with lower evaporation enthalpy. The evaporation enthalpy evaporates or condenses by a cyclic heating or cooling in working chamber. The kinetic energy is supplied to mechanical energy storage (1), where the kinetic energy is occurred in working cylinder. A container (3) is provided in the engine which is made of plastic. An acetone, carbon disulfide, or liquefied petroleum gas, particularly carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide is used as working liquid.
