The coupler has an outer coupling unit (1) and an inner coupling unit (2) coupled together and snapped against each other in a sealed manner. A sealing ring (6) is held in an axial position on a side that is turned away from a passage by an elastic safety ring (7), where the sealing ring is snapped with the outer coupling unit. The sealing ring is braced on cylindrical circumference of the inner coupling unit in a resting position, and is implemented as the smooth supports in a distance from a front sided end face of the inner coupling unit.
