The frequency diversity gain for transmission diversity is obtained with one symbol in a frequency-controlled single carrier system. A wireless transmitter has a plurality of antennas and performs wireless transmission in single carrier communication mode. It is equipped with a DFT part 4 that performs time-to-frequency conversion of multiple input signals in the time domain and outputs multiple signals in the frequency domain, a spectrum coder (5) that performs coding of each of said output signals in the frequency domain, and transmission parts (6-1 to 11-2) that perform frequency-to-time conversion of said encoded signals in the frequency domain and wirelessly transmit the signals in the time domain using at least one antenna.
