<p>According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are provided of shielding apparatus suitable for use in providing electromagnetic interference shielding for one or more electrical components on a substrate. In one exemplary embodiment, a shielding apparatus generally includes first and second walls. The first wall includes laterally spaced-apart detent protrusions. The second wall includes an edge portion disposed relative to the first wall such that an interface between the edge portion of the second wall and the first wall is substantially sealed against the ingress and/or egress of electromagnetic interference through the interface. The edge portion of the second wall is engaged generally between and laterally confined by the laterally spaced-apart detent protrusions of the first wall, such that the laterally spaced-apart detent protrusions inhibit movement of the second wall relative to the first wall. Accordingly, this helps retain the interface between the edge portion of the second wall and the first wall substantially sealed against the ingress and/or egress of electromagnetic interference through the interface.</p> |
