<p>A detection section (110) detects stop of a program running on a computer (10). An acquisition section (120) acquires system log (121) and dump information (122) on the computer (10) when stop of the program is detected by the detection section (110). An extraction section (130) extracts any error message (131) and specific dump information (132) from the system log (121) and the dump information (122). A database section (140) stores a database storing a plurality of patches A, B, C, and others as well as selection condition for each of the patches A, B, C, and others. An identification section (150) identifies any patch the error message (131) and the specific dump information (132) of which satisfy the selection condition from among the patches A, B, C, and others in accordance with the database stored on the database section (140). An output section (160) outputs a patch B identified by the identification section (150) as an applicable patch candidate.</p> |
