A planetary mechanism has a sun gear as an input, a fixed ring gear, a planetary carrier as an output, and a planetary gear unit supported by the planetary carrier. The planetary gear unit has shafts, first planetary gears connected to the shafts and meshing with the sun gear, and second planetary gears connected to the shafts and meshing with the ring gear. The planetary gear unit rotates relative to the planetary carrier about a first rotation axis. The planetary carrier rotates about a second rotation axis. The first rotation axis and the second rotation axis intersect each other.
