SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING BUILDING AND FACILITY INFORMATION FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT

A system providing digital, interactive mappings of the interiors of buildings and facilities, such as large commercial and governmental buildings via a secure network is provided. Pertinent areas of these facilities are documented for retrievable in real time by police, fire and other emergency personnel, enabling first responders to pinpoint the exact location of the emergency at hand. 360° panoramic photographs are taken of the entire facility, and are matched to their exact locations through a digital interior map. Critical areas, such as the location of electrical control panels, hydrants, fire escapes, roof access, water valves, etc., are highlighted. Panoramic images or live video feeds, layout / floor plan information, larger area views, and symbols/icons are simultaneously displayed in four quadrants of a video display, accessible via a web browser.
