<p>Disclosed is a process for producing an N-(3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative by debenzylating an N-(1-benzyl-3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative. It is particularly preferred to produce an N-(1-benzyl-3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative by using an 1-benzyl-3-aminopyrrolidine derivative (a substance that is readily available on an industrial scale) as a starting substance, and to produce the N-(3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative by using the N-(1-benzyl-3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative. The process enables the production of an N-(3-pyrrolidinyl)glycine derivative which is useful as an intermediate for a pharmaceutical agent with high efficiency by using a readily available, general-purpose compound.</p> |
