<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a print job control method for easily designating an alternate output destination when alternate output is accompanied by output failure, and for improving the appearance of an image printed after alternation. <P>SOLUTION: After printing is requested, when a data communication part 101 receives failure information showing that an output failure has been generated from the image forming apparatus at the destination of transmission, an arithmetic part 103 determines the other image forming apparatus capable of carrying out alternate printing from the image forming apparatus where the output failure has been generated on the basis of the arithmetic result.
