<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vein imaging apparatus conserved in space. <P>SOLUTION: The vein imaging apparatus 10 includes an imaging part 12 and a guide member 13. The imaging part 12 images the vein pattern of the palm of the hand, and the guide member 13 is errected on the peripheral edge part of the imaging surface of the imaging part 12.
