PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform OCR processing while increasing accuracy in recognizing characters. SOLUTION: A character image is printed on the surface of a recording sheet. Each character of the character image is converted into a character code, and a code image is generated from the character code. The code image is printed on the back face of the recording sheet, and the code image is added inconspicuously.
