PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a plurality of reference images without troubling a driver 114. SOLUTION: A face recognition device is provided with: a driving operation status information generation part 108; a reference image information storage determination part 109; a face angle information generation part 110 and a reference image information storage part 111. The driving operation status information generation part 108 generates driving operation status information. The reference information storage determination part 109 determines the start of storing a reference image based on the driving operation status information. When the start of the storage is determined by the reference image information storage determination part 109, a face image acquisition/storage part 117 acquires and stores the face image. A face angel information generation part 110 generates face angle information as information on the face angle of the image face.
