摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the diameter of a beam and obtain high S/N ratio spectra. SOLUTION: A spectroscopic apparatus includes a light source; an optical fiber (x) for guiding light emergent from the light source; a total reflecting prism for irradiating light emergent from the optical fiber (x) as oozing light to a sample on a total reflection surface; a spectroscopic means for acquiring a spectrum of Raman scatting components of scattering light of light irradiated to the sample; an object lens (w) for collecting light emergent from the light source and making it incident on to an incident end of the optical fiber (x); and an object lens (y) for collecting light emergent from an emergent end of the optical fiber (x) and turning it toward the total reflecting prism. A numerical aperture NAw of the object lens (w); a numerical aperture NAy of the object lens (y); a numerical aperture NAxin of the incident end of the optical fiber (x); and a numerical aperture NAxout of its emergent end have the relation NAw>NAxin and NAxout>NAy or the relation NAw>NAxin, NAxout>NAy, and NAw=NAy.
