PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation panel display system capable of precisely indicating the position of remaining paper and the like in a printer in the event of a jam without having to increase the screen size of an operation panel or the number of pixels. SOLUTION: The system has a storage area for storing a table that retains an image of basic size matching the configuration of a printer, the display position of the image, and the image size when an image of the entire printer is displayed in an operation panel. The magnification of the image is calculated on the basis of the current configuration of the printer and the display screen size of the operation panel, and the coordinate information of each component is calculated and displayed.
