PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella capable of moving an inclined angle of an umbrella canopy portion according to the position of the sun in a set state of engaging or securing to the support supporting the upright standing state of the support rod of the umbrella, capable of locking (holding) the inclined angle at the moved position, enabling both hands to be used in a shaded area in the scorching heat of clear weather, and capable of coping with rainfall. SOLUTION: The umbrella is constituted such that a joint portion setting the inclined angle is arranged in the support rod of the umbrella, a mechanism holding or locking the supporting rod inclined angle at multi steps in a tubular body upper portion is arranged in the outer tube-joint portion, and a sheet body adding the waterproof effect to the light blocking effect and heat blocking effect is affixed to the canopy portion of the umbrella.
