PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and practical insulator having sufficient heat shielding performance for an internal combustion engine, as the insulator for the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This heat resistant synthetic resin insulator is provided for covering a part or the whole of the internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle. The cutoff effect of heat radiation from the internal combustion engine is remarkably improved by applying heat shielding paint to a surface of a heat resistant synthetic resin. An improvement in heat insulation performance and weight reduction in a mold in the insulator of the mold, are also attained by being molded by adding a filler of a balloon system to the heat resistant synthetic resin.
