PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper having high white paper gloss and free from off-set trouble of printed image in a high-temperature environment. SOLUTION: The coated paper has a white-paper gloss of 45-80% and is composed of a paper sheet substrate and one or more coating layers composed mainly of a pigment and an adhesive and formed on at least one surface of the substrate. The surface of the coating layer has protrusions of 0.5-10μm high at a density of 10-1,000 protrusions/mm<SP>2</SP>, and a styrene-butadiene copolymer latex having a continuous hetero-composition structure is used as an adhesive in the outermost coating layer.
