PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the stress-corrosion cracking of an iron-shell in a hot stove by covering the inside of the iron-shell with a ferritic stainless steel. SOLUTION: The inside of the iron-shell 11 is covered with the ferritic stainless steel 12 (lining). That is, the stainless steel 12 is inserted between the iron-shell 11 and castable refractory 13. This method is applied to the whole of a combustion chamber 2, regenerator 3 and hot-stove main tube 5. In the execution method, a plurality of holes 12a are bored on the stainless steel at prescribed intervals and a plug-welding is applied so as to close each hole 12a in a state where this stainless steel 12 is stacked on the iron-shell 11.
