PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly read endoscopic images imaged in a capsule endoscope (CE). SOLUTION: A receiver 12 for tentatively storing the endoscopic images received from the CE 11 is provided with a wireless communication function comprising reception/demodulation modulation/transmission circuits 31, 32, 36 and 37 and an antenna 39. The processor 20 of WS 13 is provided with a reception circuit 41 connected to an antenna 24 and demodulation/modulation/reception circuits 42, 46 and 47, and wireless communication is performed with the receiver 12, During imaging by the CE 11, the receiver 12 wirelessly transmits the endoscopic image received from the CE 11 to the WS 13.
