PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet for a carrier tape which is high in the peel strength of a cover tape while maintaining folding resistance and transparency, and to provide the carrier tape. SOLUTION: The vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-based resin composition is composed of: at least one kind of block copolymer (a) containing a polymer block A mainly composed of at least one vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a polymer block B mainly composed of at least one conjugated diene, wherein the content of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon is 60-90 mass%; at least one kind of block copolymer (b) containing a polymer block C mainly composed of at least one vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a polymer block D mainly composed of at least one conjugated diene, wherein a portion of≥80% of the conjugated diene part is hydrogenated and the content of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon is 60-90 mass%; a styrene-based resin (c); and an impact resistant polystyrene resin (d). In the composition, the mass ratio of (a), (b), (c) and (d) is such that (a)/(b)/(c)/(d) is 20-70/3-20/67-5/5-20. The resin sheet has a layer formed of the composition at least on its surface.
