The method involves informing about a data determination process to an execution unit (13), which executes file- and/or folder sharing and/or communication, by an informing unit e.g. personal computer (11), assigned to a suspected person. Data about the suspected person are stored and/or utilized in a location given by an authorized person using the informing unit. The data are transmitted to the location without knowledge of the suspected person to the authorized person. The process is completed by deactivation of flags in the informing unit, where the flags are assigned to the process.
