A filter comprises a base material and a filter element mounted on the base material. The base material comprise a plurality of interconnection layers including a filter interconnection layer which is formed with an interconnection and is connected by the filter element, an insulation layer formed at a position interposed between the plurality of interconnection layers, and a ground pattern formed in at least a part of the interconnection layer below the filter interconnection layer. The insulation layer formed at the position interposed between the filter interconnection layer and the other interconnection layer is smaller in width than the interconnection formed in the filter interconnection layer and is larger in thickness than the other interconnection layer. Due to this structure, a thin, high-suppression, and high-isolation filter can be realized.
