FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of sensing of glossy surface colours, in particular, to colorimetry of paint and varnish materials, which include in their pigment composition small metal particles ("metallics"), specific feature of which is dependence of coloured surface colour on visual angles of observation or lighting. Aside screen of RGB display of personal computer, measured colour sample field is located and is illuminated from several, for instance, three 10, 40, 80, angles by white LED. On screen of RGB display, luminous square field is generated by means of sample colour dilution, which is equal to sample field, which is framed in screen of RGB display by square luminous field of alternating colour, generating field of alternating colour comparison, and it is optically transferred to axis of operator eye with the help of parallel system of reflecting and semi-transparent mirrors. By maximum brightness (Y10, 40, 80) of separate triads of additional white colour, colorist identifies size of metal particles of "metallic" paint, and their number on alternating colour field helps to define their concentration. ^ EFFECT: simplified selection of paint pigment composition. ^ 3 dwg |
