FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of technological processes of machine building, in particular, to repair of internal combustion engine cylinder block. In method engine cylinder block is bored in the area of cylinder bush installation with further compensation of gap produced between bore of cylinder block and cylinder bush. Previously cooled support ring made as stepped with large and small external lateral sides, support collar and lower end is installed in bore of cylinder block, besides, support ring contacts with cylinder block with larger external lateral side, and its tension is provided within the limits of 0.2360.330 mm, gap is left between lower end and engine cylinder block of at least 0.1 mm. Moreover, support ring is cooled in liquid nitrogen for 15-25 minutes. ^ EFFECT: increased resource of internal combustion engine cylinder block after repair, higher reliability of its operation, reduced labour inputs and time required for cylinder block repair. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
