<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing apparatus in which a predetermined process can be performed with one piece of routine format paper, upon both routine format paper on which contents have been entered already, and paper other than a routine format, on which contents have been entered. <P>SOLUTION: In a case where routine format paper on which items have been entered already is read, a multifunction peripheral 10 carries out first document processing. Furthermore, in a case where a previous document of a routine format paper has been read, when paper other than a routine format is read, the multifunction peripheral 10 carries out second document processing.
