<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet water treatment facility capable of reducing the number of microorganisms in the treated water after irradiated with visible light at a water distribution destination or discharge destination, to a target number or less; and to provide its ultraviolet dose controller. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet water treatment facility includes: an ultraviolet irradiation vessel provided inside with an ultraviolet source and an ultraviolet transmittance meter for measuring an ultraviolet transmittance; a flowmeter placed upstream of the vessel for measuring the flow rate of water to be treated; a discharge destination placed downstream of the vessel, where the treated water is discharged; a visible-light dose measuring device for measuring the visible-light dose at the discharge destination; and a controller for outputting an output control signal for the ultraviolet source, based on the visible-light dose, the flow rate of the water to be treated and the ultraviolet transmittance which are measured by the visible-light dose measuring device, the flowmeter and the ultraviolet transmittance meter, respectively, and are input into the controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
