PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of appropriate display corresponding to a using condition, an X-ray device, a switching device and an image processing method. SOLUTION: The image processor 10 is provided with: a display part 36 capable of displaying various kinds of data including the picked-up images of an X-ray imaging apparatus 30 for irradiating the subject K with X-rays and obtaining the X-ray picked-up images of the subject, and also capable of switching the display state; and a system control part 12 as a switching means for switching the display state of the display part 36 corresponding to the presence/absence of image pickup in the X-ray imaging apparatus 30.
