PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear canal resonance correcting apparatus capable of canceling resonance in accordance with the structure of the ear canal of each person. SOLUTION: The ear canal resonance correcting apparatus includes: an ear canal model including attenuators (58, 60) corresponding to reflection coefficients of an earphone or a headphone and a tympanum and delay devices (62, 66) corresponding to a distance between the earphone or the headphone and the tympanum; an inverse filter creating unit (14) for creating an inverse filter of the ear canal model; and an arithmetic unit (16) for operating a convolution of an impulse response of the inverse filter and a sound source signal.
