PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load applied to a rolling bearing when fitted and to suppress the displacement of core to the minimum. SOLUTION: A rolling bearing unit 1 comprises a first rolling bearing 10A and a second rolling bearing 10B, which incorporate a plurality of rolling bodies 16 spaced in the circumferential direction in an annular space between inner rings 12a, 12b and outer rings 14a, 14b arranged coaxially at predetermined intervals in the axial direction, a shaft 3 adhered in a state of being fitted to the inner rings 12a, 12b of these two rolling bearings 10A, 10B, and a sleeve 5, which, having a fitting hole 7, is adhered with the outer rings 14a, 14b of the two rolling bearings 10A, 10B fitted. At least one portion of the fitted portions of the inner rings 12a, 12b of the two rolling bearings 10A, 10B and the shaft 3 or those of the outer rings 14a, 14b and the fitting hole 7 is assembled by transition fitting.
