PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building in which an original space is secured and a space above a floor is formed in the space without installing a large-scaled device. SOLUTION: A garage 11 is formed in the building. The garage 11 comprises a floor forming device 20 which forms a floor surface 30 in a parking space 16. The floor forming device 20 comprises a plurality of floor blocks 31 which form the floor surface 30. The floor forming device 20 comprises a storage wall 22 for storing the floor block 31. A storage hole 44 into which the floor block 31 is insertable is formed at the bottom part of the storage wall 22. The storage wall 22 is movable, and each floor block 31 is accessible to a storage area 35 through the storage hole 44 when the storage wall is moved. The floor forming device 20 can form the floor surface 30 by arranging the floor blocks 31 parallel to each other in the parking space 16, and retreat from the parking space 16 by storing the floor blocks 31.
