PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device in which a return position of an operation member to receive pressing operation is determined, and in which rebound noise is reduced effectively upon its return by a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: The operation device includes the operation members 20C, 20E to receive the pressing operation for operation of a switch element, and a retaining member 10B for retaining this. The operation members 20C, 20E have an operated part 22 to receive the pressing operation, a pressing part 24 contacted with the switch element, and a locked part 26 to protrude in the direction perpendicular to a pressing operation direction from this pressing part 24. The retaining member 10B has a bending piece 16 to include a locking part 16c capable of bending displacement. The bending piece 16 is bent in contact with its locked part 26 upon insertion of the operation members, and has a form that the locking part 16c abuts on its locked part 26 from the side opposite to the switch element at a position where this locked part 26 goes over the bending piece 16.
