PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing a yield of protein along with virus inactivation by solvent-surfactant treatment. SOLUTION: The method for increasing a yield of a protein unit in a protein solution subjected to virus inactivation by solvent-surfactant treatment is characterized in that an amount of sugar enough to increase the yield of protein along with virus inactivation by solvent-surfactant treatment.
