PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability by eliminating lighting failure of a lamp by surely preventing loosening of the lamp mounted to a housing. SOLUTION: In a lighting unit provided with the housing 10 equipped with a pressure welding terminal 14 for connecting a lead 31 of an LED 30 and a cover 20 joined with the housing, lamp support arms 15 positioned at both sides of the LED with clearances are erected on the housing and a pressing wall 25 for bending the lamp support arms and pressing them to an outside surface of the LED when the cover is joined with the housing is provided for the cover. Sliding surfaces of the lamp support arms and the pressing wall are structured by guide inclined surfaces 16, 26 for pressing and deforming the lamp support arms to the LED as the cover is joined with the housing.
