PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the cleaning effect conspicuous by partially increasing the pressing force on an end of a sliding member of a floor cleaning machine. SOLUTION: This floor cleaning machine is equipped with: a body 1 having a vibration generator 10 which generates a vibration in the horizontal direction; a handle 4 whose proximal end is integrally connected to the body 1; and a brush 3 freely replaceably attached to the lower end of the body 1. In the floor cleaning machine, the lower end of the body 1 and the brush 3 are connected by a connecting means which can rotate at least in the longitudinal direction and/or in the vertical direction of the handle 4. As the connecting means, a tilt hinge mechanism consisting of a shaft 18 and bearings 21 and 22, or round bars 27 and 28 made of rubber or the like are used. Also, a swivel hinge mechanism which changes the direction of the handle 4 is installed on the body 1 section, and the angles of the handle 4 and the brush 3 are made optionally adjustable during cleaning.
