PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent imperfect washing and disinfection caused by projection of one part of an endoscope from liquid and prevent contamination of the endoscope by water droplets stuck to the inner face of a top cover. SOLUTION: When the top cover 37 is closed, the inner face section 62 of the top cover 37 faces the whole body of an opening 31a of a washing tub 31 or is fitted thereto. The flow rate of an antiseptic solution 85 fed from an antiseptic solution tank 87 to the washing tub 31 is measured by a second flow rate sensor 89. The feed rate of the antiseptic solution 85 fed to the washing tub 31 is calculated based on the measurement result of the second flow rate sensor 89. When the liquid level position of the antiseptic solution 85 in the washing tub 31 reaches a position coming into contact with the inner face section 62, the supply of the antiseptic solutio 85 is stopped.
