<p>A lactic acid copolymer is provided to improve elongation and elasticity of polylactic acid in blending with the polylactic acid, and molding processability and to increase durability of molded articles. A method for manufacturing a lactic acid copolymer comprises a step of performing esterification or transesterification of a mixture in the presence of a metal salt mixture. The mixture comprises at least one first component 20-85 weight % selected from lactic acid, chemical formula 1, 2, and 3; at least one second component 5-20 weight % selected from citric acid or citric ester; at least one third component 10-60 weight % selected from the group consisting of C2-6 aliphatic glycol, polyalkylene glycol and polycaprolactone diol; and performing polycondensation of the obtained reactant.</p> |
