A pointing device using image is provided to remove error due to bad pixel without lowering performance of embedded hardware when using extracted tracing pixel. A display unit indicates an output target image. A camera(130) is fixed and takes a picture of a certain area on a real time basis. A controller(140) separates objects and background from the real-time video taken by the camera. The controller extracts a first coordinate of objects from the real-time video. The controller converts a first coordinate into a second coordinate. The controller moves a pointer displayed on display unit to a second coordinate. |
