A method for sewing a band-shaped object is provided to reduce length of a cutting end part of the band-shaped object which is are wasted after a sewing process using a supply roller efficiently. A method for sewing a band-shaped object includes the following steps of: supplying the band-shaped object(T) on an opening perimeter edge part(71) of bag-shaped fabric(70) with a pair of supply roller(50,51); sewing the band-shaped object on the opening perimeter edge part; stopping supply of the band-shaped object when the object reached on an end part; adding tension of an opposite direction of a supply direction on the band-shaped object; and cutting the band-shaped object.
