A printer is provided to extend the lifetime of the printer and to cut thick paper using a rotating blade of board-shape with high rigidity. A printer comprises a first module(20B) and a second module(100B). The first module has a rotating blade, a driving motor, a platen roller driving motor, and a platen roller. The platen roller is rotated with the platen roller driving motor. The rotating blade comprises a board-shaped blade and a main body. The main body is rotated with the rotating blade driving motor. The board-shaped blade fixed to the main body. The second module comprises a printing head, and a fixed blade. The first module and the second module are combined. The printing head and the platen roller are installed to face each other. The fixed blade and the rotating blade are installed to face each other.
