A gas stove hood assembly having a fire extinguisher is provided, which enables to extinguish fire by spraying extinguishing gas or extinguishing liquid on the top of the gas stove. A gas stove hood assembly comprises: a main body(210) of the gas stove hood(200) equipped with a filter; a fire extinguisher container(11) which is installed on a main body or the adjacent side and in which the extinguishing liquid is filled; a connection pipe(12) connected to the injection system of the fire extinguisher container; a nozzle(13) located in the center of the suction region corresponding to the center of the gas stove(100); a filter installed at the main body in which an inlet is formed; and a driving filter which is slidably installed at the main body.
