<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely epochal optical frequency branching filter and an optical device for a hybrid optical integrated circuit capable of realizing the basic output of digital arithmetic operation by branching and conducting an optical signal in accordance with frequency with extremely simple constitution, constituting an optical frequency branching function at extremely low cost and further constituting the hybrid optical integrated circuit by using the optical device having the optical frequency branching function. <P>SOLUTION: A slit 4 having width set to transmit the optical signal 3a smaller than specified wavelength and reflect the optical signal 3b larger than the specified wavelength out of the optical signals 3 made incident on a plate-shaped optical raw material 2 on whose surface a reflection layer 1 is provided, is provided on the reflection layer 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
