Flexible composite material, method for its manufacture and application

The production process for flexible bonded material involves treating a flat fiber formation with binder and drying it, but not to a level at which the binder sets. The process also involves mechanical movement of the fiber formation during drying at residual humidity less than 20%, and/or mechanical needling added to the drying.
