A junction box for a solar power system is provided to perform fault diagnosis and repair of the solar power system by detecting the fault of an inner component and an individual string. A fuse is connected to each string of a photovoltaic module. A fuse melting sensor senses a melting of the fuse. A voltage measuring unit measures the DC voltage of an output terminal. A temperature measuring unit(27) measures the temperature of the case. A central processor(28b) controls the fuse melting sensor. The central processor processes the signal transmitted from the fuse melting sensor. The output unit outputs the process result of the central processor. A communication unit(29b) transmits the data processed by the central processor to the external terminal.
