The block has a rotor (11) carrying cutting or grinding tools, and a sensing roller (22) for adjusting plant cutting height of the block. A protection envelope (100) comprises a cover (110) for only opening a part of a lower face necessary for working of the tools. The envelope includes an anti-projection peripheral skirt (2) mounted movably with respect to the cover, where the peripheral skirt extends along peripheral edges of the cover. The peripheral skirt is fixed on the cover by attachment units e.g. screws, inserted into adjustment orifices (21) of the cover.
