Car park management system and method

The system has an arrangement device (22) provided with an actuator for locking and unlocking the arrangement device and a contact-less reader i.e. radiofrequency tag reader, communicating with a processing system controlling the actuator. The contact-less reader permits reading of an identification code type in a tag connected to an object i.e. cycle (1), another identification code type in a tag connected to a locking unit e.g. ringed cable (21), of a parking space or third identification code type of a user in a communicating portable object e.g. single card. An independent claim is also included for a method for arranging and withdrawing objects for a parking space location or arranged object location.
