A playing method of a card game according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) dealing a predetermined number of cards to a player as player's cards and dealing a predetermined number of cards to a banker as banker's cards; (b) placing a side BET different from a normal BET; (c) dividing the predetermined number of the player's cards and the predetermined number of the banker's cards into two sets of cards, respectively, using a strength-determination ranking which is the strength ranking of hands to be referred in a step of determining winning or losing of a game, under a basic condition imposed on the strength of respective hands consisting of the cards in the respective sets resulting from the division of cards into two sets of cards, and also dividing the predetermined number of said banker's cards into two sets of cards; (d) determining winning or losing of the game by comparing hands of the player's cards divided into two sets with hands of the banker's cards divided into two sets, using the strength-determination ranking; (e) dividing the predetermined number of the player's cards into two sets of cards without applying the basic condition thereto and/or without using the strength-determination ranking, when determining that the game results in losing of the player in the step (d) and that the side BET is placed in the step (b); and (f) determining winning or losing of the game by comparing the hands of the player's cards divided into two sets in the step (e) with the hands of the banker's cards divided into two sets, using the strength-determination ranking. |
