<p>The method involves calling up a web service description language (WSDL) file (D) during generation of a user program, which is executed on a client. A desired web service is selected according to data stored in the WSDL file. Additional data are provided, and function blocks (FB) and data are generated based on the additional data, where the function blocks and data are integrated in a user program. The generation of the user program, function blocks and data is controlled by a higher-order generator program. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a web service.</p> |
