The hydrodynamic coupling device, particularly torque converter, has housing (12) that is filled with a fluid, an impeller and a turbine wheel (24) that is arranged in an interior (22) of the housing. A bypass clutch arrangement (44) is provided with a group (46) of friction elements which are coupled with the housing by an outside friction element carrier (47) to a common turn around an axis of rotation (A). Another group (48) of friction elements is coupled with a drift organ by an another friction element carrier (50).
