A frying pan with a ring-shaped protective rim is provided to cover the curved portion of a frying pan body with a protective rim in order to prevent a Teflon layer from being peeled off. A frying pan with a ring-shaped protective rim comprises a Teflon layer(20) which prevents food ingredients from being stuck. The Teflon layer is formed inside a frying pan body. A stepped portion(100) is formed on the external side of the frying pan body. A ring-shaped protective rim(200) covers the lower part of the stepped portion. The protective rim is made of stainless steel, copper or aluminum. The protective rim improves the durability and appearance of the frying pan.
