A toothpaste composition is provided to treat oral cavity diseases and maximize the tooth brushing effect using a hemp fiber. A toothpaste composition comprises a hemp fiber as an active ingredient. The content of hemp fiber is 0.1-5 weight% based on the total toothpaste composition. The thickness and length of hemp fiber is 10-900mum and 100-900mum, respectively. A method for producing the toothpaste composition comprises: a step of cutting and pulverizing the hemp fiber; a step of sterilizing pulverized hemp fiber; and a step of mixing abrasive, binder, moisturizer, foaming agent, sweetener and flavouring agent.
